Old Age Psychiatry Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Old Age Psychiatrist to join our team in Central Queensland.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in psychiatric practice and extensive skills in facilitating effective mental health care across the continuum of old age psychiatry, including inpatient and community settings. They will also demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.

  • Facilitate effective mental health care for older adults in inpatient and community settings
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

Applicants must be registered as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent. A current Certificate of Registration with the Medical Board of Australia is also required.
