About the Role

Our team in Melbourne requires an experienced Traffic Controller (TC3 Advanced) to oversee the provision and installation of safe and appropriate temporary traffic management solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient traffic management and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Traffic Controller/Team Leader, ensuring efficient traffic management and safety.
  • Set up and manage traffic control vehicles at various job sites.
  • Collaborate with Road Assistance Crew to ensure smooth operations.
  • Attend multiple job sites throughout the day, covering areas from Werribee to Footscray.
  • Establish and maintain traffic management plans for road maintenance crews.
  • Accurately complete and file all necessary documents related to traffic control and site operations.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to changing conditions and urgent needs on-site.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Traffic Controller
  • Experience in leading a crew
  • Experience working in Traffic Management with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • TMA license and heavy rigid license is desirable
  • Current Traffic management tickets RIWHS205E & RIIWHS302 or a new ticket as required by AGTTM (TC1, TC2, TMI1/TMI2/TMI3)
  • Industry Induction White Card
  • Take personal responsibility for the safety of your workmates, the environment, public and yourself
  • A safety-first attitude – for yourself, your team and the public
