Job Title: Diesel Fitter

Our client is a successful company in the Maddington area of Perth which has been providing power generation into the mining sector for more than 30 years. They are Australian owned and operated, offering a supportive and positive work environment with a true sense of teamwork.

A new, experienced Mechanical Fitter, based in the Workshop is needed to commence a full-time, permanent role. This is a Monday to Friday role from 7am to 4pm, based in Perth. Site work may be required from time to time but is minimal. This is a hands-on role in a small team environment. Generous pay will be negotiated depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Australian Trade Certificate is required
  • The ability to work independently
  • Computer literacy - Basic to Intermediate level required
  • Current WA Driver's Licence (manual)
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Excellent diagnostic and repairing skills highly regarded
  • Must be Covid Double Vaccinated
  • Experience working with engine rebuilds and with a good understanding of diesel engines in particular would be valued
  • High regard will be given to those with experience working with Cummins Engines or experience in the power generation business

Benefits:

  • Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
