Role Overview:
  • Designing, executing, and assessing therapeutic programs including counseling and psychological interventions.
  • Ensuring a high standard of care for patients.
  • Collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, social workers, educators, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and fellow psychologists to address patient mental health needs.
  • Engaging with other mental health experts to implement a cohesive strategy for managing mental health challenges within specific communities or facilities.
  • Offering support and guidance to caregivers of individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Staying informed on the latest research and advancements in psychology to guarantee the highest quality of care for patients.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or higher
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Relevant experience in a similar capacity
  • Willingness to complete necessary background checks, including a National Police Check
