Residence Manager Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to lead from day one, build your own team, and shape the culture and care standards in a state-of-the-art environment.

We're on the lookout for an inspirational and experienced Residence Manager to lead this exciting new chapter. You'll play a critical role in establishing a high-performing team of nurses and personal care assistants, ensuring exceptional care delivery.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Full accountability for staffing, budgeting, and compliance
  • Leading and coaching your team with a strong focus on recruitment, development, and recognition
  • Overseeing the delivery of care and services for all village residents, including residential aged care, independent and assisted living residents
  • Building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and stakeholders – being their trusted point of contact, especially in sensitive situations
  • Supporting sound clinical decision-making and ensuring quality care at all times
  • Managing audits, policy implementation, and working with external agencies
  • Driving a strong, connected team culture across the village
