We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health Information Services Officer to join our Health Information Service team at Healthscope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to enquiries and requests from internal and external clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, patients, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of health information records.
- Electronic delivery of health information records to internal and external clients in a legal, accurate, and timely manner.
- Maintain departmental processes, including completion of medicolegal worksheets, spreadsheets, folders, and files.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, seeking assistance when required and following instructions.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality of health information services.
- Assist the department in other areas, such as administrative or scanning duties, as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong telephone manner.
- Demonstrated experience working in a busy administrative environment, preferably in the health or medical industry.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and keyboard skills, including knowledge of electronic patient administration systems, email systems, and Microsoft Office.
- High standard of organisational skills, including ability to prioritise and achieve deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skills in health information management systems (desirable).
