This role involves overseeing the delivery of resident care, managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, and communicating effectively with families or legal guardians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Care: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
- Staff Supervision: Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
- Care Planning: Overseeing the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
- Medication Management: Ensuring proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
- Families Communication: Communicating effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
