
Transformational DevOps Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to play a key role in our technology transformation. This individual will be responsible for modernizing systems and migrating to the cloud, working closely with a cross-functional team to design, build, and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of DevOps practices, SDLC principles, and automation, as well as experience with cloud hosting, security, and networking. Proficiency in infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration is also essential.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Data Platform team to assess and build new monitoring capabilities for both on-premises and cloud-hosted data environments. You will also design and implement automation solutions using Terraform, PowerShell, Unix scripting, and container technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support data services, analytics, and machine learning workloads.
- Mentor and guide team members on automation, tooling, and best practices.
- Assess and build new monitoring capabilities for both on-premises and cloud-hosted data environments.
- Implement testing and automation frameworks for data workflows and platform services.
- Collaborate with the Data Platform team on security and compliance measures.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in a DevOps engineering role, ideally with experience supporting data platform or analytics environments.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, SDLC principles, and automation.
- Experience with AWS hosting, security, and networking.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration.
- Passion for automating manual processes
- Keen to continuously improve & innovate
- Ability to manage high pressure scenarios
- Ability to develop strong working relationships
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
