About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Specialist to join our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair complex mechanical equipment components.
  • Operate precision machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.
  • Perform routine maintenance activities to prevent downtime and ensure reliability.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate manufacturing and repairs.
  • Record maintenance activities and adhere to quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Fitting and Machining (Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade).
  • Experience in heavy industry, mining, or similar environments.
  • Strong machining skills and ability to read technical drawings.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Understanding of workplace safety and risk management practices.
