Property Assessor Role

As a Property Assessor, you will have the opportunity to develop your career in property assessment by joining a dynamic team.

You will bring experience in property assessment or the building industry to manage a busy portfolio of claims, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing claims and assessments.

The successful candidate will:

  • Accurately assess property damage to determine repairs and costs;
  • Ensure that all service level targets are being met and that you are providing exceptional customer service;
  • Write accurate assessment reports, negotiate with suppliers and ensure correct scope for repairs;
  • Undertake property assessments in line with underwriting terms and policies;
  • Manage all rectifications in accordance with industry codes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in property assessment or 5 years as a qualified tradesperson;
  • A valid driving license;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • An attention to detail and strong computer skills.
