Job Opportunity: Paediatric Audiologist

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Audiologist to provide high-quality audiological assessments and services to children aged 0-18 years.

  • Conducting behavioral audiological assessments to determine hearing abilities in children.
  • Providing sensitive and accurate communication of assessment outcomes to individuals, families, and referrers.
  • Maintaining a contemporary understanding of child development, ear health, pathology, screening, and diagnostic assessments and interventions for hearing loss.
  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced audiology setting with long waiting times.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships within the department and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be able to work independently as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification giving eligibility for full association membership with Audiology Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, efficient, and effective Paediatric Audiology services.
  • Experience working with children of all ages in Acute, Community, or both clinic settings.
  • Ability to adapt and re-prioritize according to changing clinic and client needs.
  • Ability to sensitively relate to and communicate with colleagues, parents, families, children, and other members of the community from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds.
