**Job Overview**

The Assistant Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the delivery of engaging programs for school-aged children, collaborating closely with the Coordinator to ensure seamless operation.

This is a part-time position, working 24 hours a week.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and evaluate programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children aged 5-12 years, aligning with the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework;
  • Provide expert guidance and support to families on program-related matters;
  • Lead educational programs and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members;
  • Support administrative tasks and contribute to efficient day-to-day operations.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant qualifications or extensive experience in outside school hours care;
  • Proven leadership skills and expertise in team management;
  • Completion of the "Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk" certification;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and the National Quality Framework as it pertains to Outside School Hours Care;
  • Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis;
  • Working With Children Check;
