Perisher operates premier ski areas, and this position is located at the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere, nestled in the picturesque Snowy Mountains region of South-Eastern NSW.
In this position, you will support the Health, Safety and Environment team in various aspects of health, safety, and environmental management while promoting continuous improvement. You will collaborate with the HSE team across multiple resorts and provide necessary HSE assistance.
Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Assisting in the reporting of incidents and injuries
- Conducting safety inspections throughout the resorts
- Performing waste audits and inspections
- Assisting with wildlife management
- Conducting data analysis
- Preparing HSE communications
To qualify for this role, you should possess:
- A valid driver's license and the ability to ski or snowboard
- Knowledge of WHS legislation
- Understanding of ski area operations
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel
- Qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or Environmental Management are highly desirable
