About the Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our business objectives by managing transactional purchasing activities, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and providing timely solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Execute purchasing activities as per company policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and orders based on departmental requirements, ensuring timely approvals and processing.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding quotations, orders, deliveries, and corrective actions around delivery issues and invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organised procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information.
  • Contribute to the improvement of purchasing processes.
What You Can Bring
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar administrative position or related field.
  • Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in computer applications - Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Data entry and management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A formal qualification in Business Administration is highly regarded.
