We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our operational team for an immediate start in a PM shift role (2pm–10pm). This position involves coordinating fleet resources to ensure all Same Day pick-ups and deliveries are completed safely, on time, and efficiently.
A strong focus on service excellence is essential, along with building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to support exceptional customer experiences and business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all transport allocation and costs in line with operational requirements, maintaining a high level of productivity in all operations areas.
- Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to achieve the best possible outcomes in regard to meeting tight service deadlines.
- Enhance the customer experience by ensuring calls, enquiries and emails are actioned and responded to in a timely manner.
- Track resources; communicate with drivers, customers and suppliers; and prioritise tasks.
- Assist with the identification, investigation and remedying of operational and service issues specific to the Same Day service offering.
- Experience in fleet allocation and logistics coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of metropolitan Sydney.
- Experience in customer service and fast-paced operations.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S Legislative and Regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, Safety at Work, Fatigue Management, Mass Management Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility.
