Job Description:

The role of Learning and Development Leader is to oversee the development and implementation of education programs aimed at enhancing patient care by maintaining and developing workforce capability.

This involves collaborating with Directors of Clinical Services, Associate Directors of Clinical Services, and Nurse Managers to identify learning needs and oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of targeted educational initiatives.

  • Develop and implement education programs that cater to the diverse needs of healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of education programs with organisational goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience within an education role.
  • Postgraduate qualification.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Proven team building and leadership ability.
  • Success in development and implementing programs based on adult learning principles.
  • Ability to impart knowledge and be receptive to new ideas and practices.
