About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at the East Sale Health Centre. As a Physiotherapist, you will provide support and treatments to valuable Defence Force Personnel. Your responsibilities will include providing evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitative services to patients. You will also be responsible for providing direction on rehabilitation programs, splinting, plastering, and fitting of orthoses or other devices, as well as using electrotherapy modalities or hydrotherapy pools where required.

Key Requirements
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
  • Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable).
About East Sale Health Centre

East Sale Health Centre is located on RAAF Base East Sale and services approximately 700 Defence members. The facility provides primary health care, dental, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and psychology services, and contains a 2-bed low-dependency ward. Its standard operating hours are 0800-1700 Mon-Thurs, and 0800-1300 Friday.
