About Us

About the Role

As a Physiotherapist at East Sale Health Centre, you will provide support and treatments to valuable Defence Force Personnel. Your responsibilities will include providing evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitative services to patients. You will also provide direction on rehabilitation programs, splinting, plastering, fitting of orthoses or other devices, use of electrotherapy modalities or hydrotherapy pools where required, as well as providing advice and recommendations to other health professionals.

Requirements

  • Personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
  • Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
  • Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable).

About East Sale Health Centre

East Sale Health Centre is a facility located on RAAF Base East Sale, providing primary health care, dental, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and psychology services. The centre contains a 2-bed low-dependency ward and operates from 0800-1700 Mon-Thurs, and 0800-1300 Friday.

About You

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physiotherapist to join our team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to Defence Force personnel. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team will be highly valued.
