Technical Services Officer - Beverage

The Technical Services Officer – Beverage is a key role within our beverage manufacturing operations. This position involves coordinating and monitoring quality systems to ensure customer expectations are met.

This will include providing technical assistance and advice to manufacturing operations, as well as investigating product failures and developing systems to reduce customer complaints and quality issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring products meet agreed specifications and coordinating sensory panels to maintain quality standards.
  2. Coordinating testing throughout manufacturing operations and interpreting results.
  3. Investigating product failures and determining destiny of products.
  4. Providing feedback on operation performance and supplying advice for improvements in operational activities.
  5. Assisting in the investigation of factory-related complaints and developing systems to reduce customer complaints and quality issues.
  6. Assisting Product Development team in implementing accurate specifications and ensuring agreed specifications are accurate and workable.

Requirements:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience within the food industry in a Quality Assurance role with HACCP and internal auditor training.
  3. Experience and trained in HACCP implementation.
  4. Experienced and trained as an internal auditor in food safety systems.
