About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Beauty Product Specialist to join our team at National Pharmacies.

As a key member of our beauty department, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and advice on a wide range of health and beauty products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing personalized product recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
  • Suggesting products that meet customers' requirements and closing sales.
  • Explaining product features and benefits, as well as demonstrating how to use products effectively.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Coordinating product launches, special events, and promotions to drive sales and engagement.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest innovations and trends in the beauty industry.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and retention.
  • Operating a cash register and handling EFTPOS transactions efficiently.
  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring displays are merchandised attractively.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Previous extensive experience as a Beauty Consultant or in a related role.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Inventory management and stock control skills.
  • Sales, demonstration, and up-selling experience.
  • Industry knowledge and brand awareness.
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
