We are seeking experienced trade qualified Mechanical fitters / Mechanical technicians to join a leading player in the Rail industry.

The role involves working within a thriving workshop environment, carrying out locomotive components overhaul and re-builds. Key responsibilities include completing maintenance request forms, component overhaul, maintenance and repair work, strip, cleaning and assembling and testing components, fault finding, maintaining and re-building.

Requirements
  • Trade qualification in Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail due to working with delicate components
  • Previous experience with fault diagnostics, maintaining components and re-building them
  • Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Police Clearance

This is an excellent opportunity for Mechanical Fitters/Technicians seeking stability and development opportunities within a secure industry.

About the Role

As a Locomotive Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our rail fleet.

Salary and Benefits
