Senior Clinical Leader Position

The Medicare Mental Health Centre is seeking a Senior Clinical Leader to provide expert clinical guidance and support to our multidisciplinary team. This role requires advanced leadership skills, including the ability to manage complex caseloads and allocate tasks effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health services, with experience in leading initiatives to improve patient safety and quality of care.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote professional values and ethics in clinical practice by fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Develop and maintain consolidated knowledge of research and evidence-based practices in mental health programs.
  • Provide high-quality mental health services to client groups with complex needs.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance consumer care.
  • Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Nursing.
  • Current registration with AHPRA or membership with the appropriate professional association.
  • Working with Children Certificate and National Police Clearance.
