We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our culinary team at The Ritz-Carlton Perth. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food for our employees, ensuring high-quality dishes that meet our standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cold foods and ingredients for cooking, including weighing, measuring, mixing, portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Prepare and cook food for employee meals according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist, establishing priority items.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
  • Serve food for employees in proper portions onto dishes, plates, mugs, and bowls, ensuring proper plate appearance.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate 3 in Cookery.
  • I'm Alert Food Safety Certification (from City of Perth).
  • Unrestricted working rights for Australia.
