Senior Settlements Specialist

The Senior Settlements Professional will work collaboratively with the Commercial Manager and Head of Development Services to optimize commercial settlements processes.
This role is responsible for accurately managing loans from Letter of Offer stage through to settlement within required time-frames, while providing an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of files for settlement in accordance with policy and procedure, adhering to all legislative requirements.
- Ensure documentation received satisfies requirements of outstanding conditions (including construction requirements) prior to settlement.
- Coordination of training for your team, including expert advice to the settlements teams.
- Effective communication and liaison with internal and external stakeholders (Brokers, Solicitors, Business Development Managers, Credit Teams).
- Competency with Loan Closer, Equifax, Valuation Exchange (Valex), Global X programs.
You are a highly motivated and numerically skilled individual, with 5+ years' experience managing mortgage settlements involving construction and commercial securities.
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills, along with proven people leadership skills and excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills are essential.
