About the Role
Monash Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate mental health nurse to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care and support the recovery of individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, goal-oriented care to patients with acute mental health conditions
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative practices and programs to improve patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers to promote recovery and well-being
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in mental health nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
