**Language, Literacy and Numeracy Trainer/Assessor**
The role of the Language, Literacy and Numeracy Trainer/Assessor is to deliver high-quality training programs that empower learners and support their vocational and personal goals. This hands-on role involves designing and evaluating training, conducting assessments, and maintaining accurate records to meet government contract requirements and national standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and client-focused language, literacy, and numeracy training using adult learning principles and a variety of methodologies.
- Conduct diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of client progress.
- Design, develop, and validate tools and resources that align with program and learner needs.
- Foster learner engagement through real-world, project-based learning and innovative use of technology.
- Maintain accurate records of training delivery and ensure compliance with privacy and reporting requirements.
- Continuously improve professional knowledge and skills through training, curriculum development, and the adoption of new technologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor of Education or equivalent and postgraduate qualifications in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Adult LLN (e.g., Grad Dip TESOL).
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent qualifications required by ASQA.
- Demonstrated teaching capability and recent experience delivering client-focused education.
- Proficiency in using classroom technology and an ability to integrate innovative tools into teaching.
- Skilled in conducting assessments using nationally accredited curricula (e.g., CGEA, FSK, CSWE) and frameworks (e.g., ACSF).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in multicultural learning environments.
