About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to provide legal support to a procurement team, ensuring that procurement activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating procurement contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies. This includes identifying and addressing legal risks associated with procurement activities.

The successful candidate will manage legal aspects of vendor relationships, including dispute resolution and contract enforcement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training to teams on relevant topics

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts in a procurement environment
  • Admitted to practice as a legal practitioner in Australia, holding a current practicing certificate
  • A minimum of 6 years post-admission experience, either in-house or private practice
  • In-depth understanding of procurement regulations, contract law, and compliance standards
