We are seeking a dedicated Sales and Marketing Coordinator to become a vital part of our Business Development team in the APAC region.

This newly established position is designed to assist the APAC team in ensuring efficient operations and service delivery throughout the area. This role involves hands-on support and active collaboration with colleagues across the regional team.

The ideal candidate will possess 0-2 years of experience in a corporate or professional services setting and is eager to advance their career. This position is also suitable for recent graduates looking to embark on their first corporate journey.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for professional and technical growth, with mentorship from seasoned specialists.

The position will report to both the Brand, Marketing & Communications Manager, APAC, and the Events Manager, APAC, providing support to colleagues located in various regions.

Team Overview

The global Business Development & Marketing team at Kennedys is dedicated to promoting our services and supporting the firm's growth objectives across key markets. The APAC team collaborates closely with colleagues in the UK, EMEA, LatAm, and the US on diverse marketing and communication initiatives.

Our APAC team is responsible for supporting our expanding office network, which currently includes six locations. The team encompasses Clients & Markets, Events, and Brand, Marketing & Communications, with all members working together to facilitate a comprehensive range of business development and marketing activities in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand, Marketing & Communications Assisting with award submissions and directory entries, including preparing templates, tracking results, and ensuring accurate information is recorded. Managing firm and lawyer industry memberships and overseeing renewals. Onboarding new team members, including assisting with their profiles, professional photos, and membership requirements. Coordinating professional photo sessions and managing final files with the design team. Overseeing the firm's branded merchandise program for events and marketing, including liaising with suppliers on orders and managing budget and stock control.
  • Events Supporting the planning and execution of events. Preparing business development materials and presentations as needed. Purchasing tickets for external conferences and industry gatherings.
  • Business Development / Clients & Markets Assisting in preparing and formatting content for internal and external use, including client profiles and presentations. Coordinating business development and marketing inductions for partners and lawyers. Maintaining a library of core firm and product group content. Assisting with client reporting and maintaining relevant trackers.
  • Team Operations Managing the processing of team invoices and liaising with finance colleagues. Assisting the regional team with travel arrangements. Contributing to projects aimed at enhancing the operational effectiveness of the team. Supporting various business development and marketing tasks and activities.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a professional environment or law firm is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive in taking initiative and responsibility for project completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in proofreading.
  • Ability to learn new digital platforms and systems quickly.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to assist teammates with urgent tasks.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
