About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our finance team at our Head Office in Brisbane. This is an ideal opportunity for an analytical and dynamic individual who is looking to be part of a fast-growing multinational organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and foreign currency payments.
  • Assist in examining operating costs and organizations' income and expenditure, performing data analysis, and providing financial advice on business structures, plans, and operations.
  • Process month/year-end close and prepare general ledger journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and more.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and assist with the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
  • Provide support in cashflow management and forecasting, conduct financial investigations, and prepare reports.
  • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable controls, ad-hoc projects, and duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • High level of attention to detail, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and organizational and time management skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Excel and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in MYOB EXO is an advantage but not mandatory.
