Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned payroll professional to support remediation initiatives and provide end-to-end payroll coverage across multiple pay cycles.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the identification, correction, and prevention of payroll discrepancies as part of ongoing remediation efforts.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements.
  • Deliver payroll services in line with best practices and internal standards to uphold payroll integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure correct payroll processing and record-keeping.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on payroll experience within medium to large organizations is required.
  • Prior experience working with Large ERPs, preferably SuccessFactors, ECP, or SAP ECC, is highly regarded.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation, modern awards, and EAs is essential.
  • Experience supporting payroll compliance or remediation projects is advantageous.
  • Solid accounting knowledge or qualifications (e.g., Cert IV or higher in Payroll/Accounting) are necessary.
  • The ability to work accurately under pressure, handle confidential information with integrity, and adapt in a dynamic environment is crucial.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are required.
