Job Role Overview

As a skilled healthcare professional in our Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) service, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care to clients struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals with complex AOD issues.
  • Provide expert pharmacotherapy treatment, harm minimisation advice, and case management services to support long-term recovery.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for clients, their families, and friends.
  • Participate actively in quality assurance and improvement activities, as well as research projects to drive innovation.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in AOD or related fields are highly desirable.
  • A valid Driver's Licence is an added advantage.
