  • Career Medical Officer: Level 1-7, $128,750 - $183,340 per annum
  • Senior Career Medical Officer: Level 1-3, $187,460 - $206,000 per annum
  • Registrar/Senior Registrar: Medical Practitioner Level 5-11, $134,930 - $189,005 per annum
  • Resident Medical Officer: Medical Practitioner Level 2-4, $95,275 - $108,150 per annum
  • Rural Medical Practitioner: Rural Medical Practitioner Level 1, $185.16 per hour
  • Specialist/Senior Specialist: Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 – 11, $216,300 - $296,640 per annum
  • Visiting Medical Practitioner: Level 1-2, $128.61- $144.55 per hour
  • Visiting Medical Specialist: Level 1-4, $161.67 - $194.30 per annum
Essential Qualifications:
  • Four years of post-graduate experience for Senior Registrar roles.
  • Enrolled in a recognised specialty training program, successfully completed all fellowship examinations relevant to their training program and employment.
  • General or unconditional registration with the Medical Board of Australia for certain roles.
