Job Title: Dispensary Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dispensary Technician to join our team.

This role involves working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for assisting with the dispensing of medication, managing inventory, and ensuring that customers receive excellent service.

The ideal candidate will have previous dispensing experience in an Australian-based pharmacy and possess a good working knowledge of medications and dispensing processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the supply and distribution of medications to aged care facilities
  • Inventory management and control
  • Assisting in the sale of S2 and S3 medicines while demonstrating a thorough understanding of relevant regulations
  • Dispensing medication under the guidance of pharmacists
  • Replenishing stock and maintaining inventory levels
  • Supplying the correct medication to patients
  • Providing general assistance to customers
  • Supporting the pharmacy teams with other pharmaceutical duties as required
