Job Opportunity: Lead Infrastructure Project Delivery

At our organization, we're committed to delivering the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) project, a significant road infrastructure project in South Australia.

The role of Civil Project Manager – Roadworks involves leading the successful delivery of your project area, ensuring it meets all design requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.

Job Description:

As a Civil Project Manager – Roadworks, you will drive performance across commercial, HR/IR, safety, quality, environmental, and community engagement targets.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead project delivery to meet design, safety, quality, environmental, time, and cost targets, ensuring compliance with all contractual and commercial requirements
  • Drive safety culture through regular discussions, incident reviews, and promoting best practices across teams and subcontractors
  • Manage budgets and forecasting with accuracy, ensuring cost control and consistent monthly reporting
  • Engage with the community and stakeholders to provide updates, maintain positive relationships, and ensure smooth project execution
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering high performance, supporting training, and promoting wellness and diversity initiatives

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience managing major infrastructure projects, preferably in roadworks or civil construction
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, commercial procedures, and cost control practices
  • Committed to safety excellence with the ability to lead and promote a positive safety culture
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including community and client liaison
  • Skilled at mentoring and developing teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
