**Job Overview**

This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of information security risk management strategies to ensure the protection of sensitive data. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and updating policies, standards, and procedures in line with business priorities and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber risk management, preferably in the financial services industry, and experience in developing and maintaining technology, data, and information security risk frameworks. They will also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement information security risk management strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Review and update policies, standards, and procedures in line with business priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Technology teams to ensure risk management practices are integrated into day-to-day operations.
  • Provide assurance over design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
  • Maintain and facilitate the remediation of external and internal audit findings.

**Requirements:**

  • Professional certification in cyber security, risk management, or auditing (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA).
  • Sound understanding of information security risk standards and frameworks such as ISO27001 and NIST.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cyber risk and compliance, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with CPS234 and other relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
