Chief Information Security Strategist

The Chief Information Security Officer is a high-level position within an institution's ICT Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that safeguards digital assets and infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities- Develop a long-term cybersecurity plan and risk management framework, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Oversee cybersecurity operations, governance, compliance, and awareness programs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and governance committees to align cybersecurity with organizational goals.
- Ability to communicate cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Extensive knowledge of business risk, risk assessment, and decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
- Minimum 10 years in IT and/or business leadership, with at least 5 years in senior cybersecurity roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity programs within large organizations.
