Senior Electrical Design Engineer

At Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our APAC Data Center Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to lead electrical design projects and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of experience in data center or mission critical facility design. They should have a comprehensive understanding of various code requirements across the APAC region and a fundamental knowledge of critical MV and LV electrical equipment.
Key responsibilities will include leading data center electrical designs, participating in site selection reviews, and working with local utilities to define site utility requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for designing critical data center equipment, including MV infrastructure, generators, UPS systems, switchgear, transformers, and earthing. They will work with regional vendors and manufacturers to specify suitable electrical equipment and ensure compliance with IEC requirements and APAC-wide design codes.
We offer a competitive salary of AU$150,000 - AU$200,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
