Event Operations Manager

Seeking an event management professional to drive the delivery of exceptional events at a national convention centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operational aspects of events ensuring seamless planning and execution
  • Manage day-to-day operations across banquet floors, facilities, and stores in line with safety and operational standards
  • Coordinate IHG systems and programs including MICROS, ESCAP, E-tivity, Purchase Plus and Delphi
  • Optimize wage, beverage, linen, and operating supply costs within established parameters
  • Maintain function spaces, public and back-of-house areas to a high standard
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless event execution
  • Recruit, onboard and train a team of event services professionals

Previous leadership experience in large-scale events or food & beverage operations is highly valued. Strong knowledge of operational and safety compliance, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
