Job Overview

This role is responsible for implementing cybersecurity controls to mitigate organisational risks. The Security Manager will provide leadership and support to the cyber function, performing duties when the GM is absent.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the management of cybersecurity operations for a prominent charity.
  • Oversee response to all cybersecurity incidents and update the General Manager on major incidents.
  • Provide technical guidance to IT departments and the broader organisation as required.
  • Monitor and manage incident response collaboration with other support teams across the charity.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, with prior leadership experience essential.
  • Degree in Computer Science desirable.
  • Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, COMPTIA+, ISACA, ISC2) are advantageous.
