About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Experience Coordinator to join our school community. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting a holistic, inclusive learning experience for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee strategic learning initiatives that promote academic excellence and student success.
  • Support monitoring and review of school improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with our vision and goals.
  • Lead, model, and support ongoing development, implementation, and oversight of quality teaching programs and learning outcomes.
  • Model and promote contemporary and innovative pedagogical practices that foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to a culture of collegiality and reflective practices among staff members.
  • Support individuals in identifying new learning experiences to support continued professional development and growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of and commitment to Catholic education, with the ability to articulate this in a clear and compelling manner.
  • The ability to promote and support staff in developing innovative and effective teaching and learning practices.
  • Demonstrated management and administrative skills to ensure assessment, teaching, and learning programs operate effectively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively utilise data to optimise outcomes, think strategically, and support the Leadership Team in leading the school's mission.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills to develop and sustain constructive relationships within and beyond the school community.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Four-year trained teacher classification with at least four years of successful teaching experience.
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation.
  • Working with Children Clearance.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
  • Postgraduate study in education (e.g., Master of Educational Leadership, Theology).
  • Working towards Highly Accomplished or Lead Teaching Standards.
