The Director Service Delivery role in APAC will oversee the delivery team and ensure a seamless process from project commencement to implementation, testing, and support. This involves leading proven methodologies and technologies to achieve 'best practice' standards.
As a key conduit between business and service delivery teams, you will interact with other teams to continuously achieve planned business outcomes. Your efforts will result in customers utilizing Hexagon's solutions to achieve their objectives on time, on budget, and at the required level of quality.
This role requires strong strategy and planning skills, experience in leading programs of work and service delivery teams, and driving technology and operational standards across the delivery organization. You will be responsible for approval, maintenance, and compliance with the Information Security Management System for ISO:27001 certification and other security audits.
As a trusted advisor and leader, you will direct and mentor, recruit, counsel, and develop competency across your teams while advising and governing to ensure standards are understood and evolved.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the service delivery team to deliver best practice development, delivery, and support to all customers.
- Aligning IT strategy with business objectives through planning, implementation, and execution.
- Leading and mentoring through collaboration - identifying blockers, challenges, and risks and taking steps to close issues and make quick decisions.
- Ensuring integrity and consistency across the delivery of solutions.
- Ensuring all project and support work undertaken is of high-quality standard where high customer satisfaction levels are achieved and maintained.
- Assisting technical and operational decision-makers in making correct decisions for the project and the wider team on technology choice and approach.
- Skills and knowledge gap analysis to ensure the team possesses what is required within the current business environment and upskill to future needs; cross-skilling to optimize efficiency.
- Developing the team, ensuring there is a career path for each member including performance reviews.
- Succession plan in place for this role and key roles within the team.
- Providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure ISMS supports confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets; allocate resources; approve key information security policies; and ensure information security is integrated into the organization's risk management framework.
- Bachelor's degree in technology and/or business.
- Financial: Contribute to Asia Pacific's corporate targets; introduce efficiencies to drive costs down; achieve revenue targets.
- Leadership: Performance reviews for all team members; development plans; coaching and mentoring; skills gap analysis with mitigation; succession planning.
- 7+ years service delivery and program of work management, experience across a range of software technology.
- 7+ years effective people leadership experience.
- Experience driving productivity, quality, and output of a large team.
- Effective communication with stakeholders including technical teams and clients.
- Exposure to project management elements, including solution design, forecasting resources, and estimation.
- Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
- Experience in complex service-oriented organizations or software vendors with knowledge of commercial and IT business practices including project budgeting and financial management.
- Big-picture thinking: Understanding how system parts interact.
- Ability to manage projects to deadlines.
- Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
