Senior Legal Advisor for Global Payment Services

We seek a seasoned attorney with expertise in payment services to lead our regulatory strategy and ensure seamless product launches worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial regulations impacting global payment services, strategic legal counsel on regulatory obligations, interface with regulators, and advise internal teams on compliance as they develop and scale payment products and offerings.

Core Requirements:
  • 10+ years of legal experience with a focus on payments and blockchain technology
  • JD or equivalent with admission to practice law in the United States
  • Deep understanding of U.S. federal and state payments laws, including regulations related to money transmission, anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) practices, and consumer protection

This is a challenging role that requires balancing innovation with risk management, ensuring Circle's products remain aligned with evolving global payment laws.
