This unique position is for a senior technical leader with a strong industry focus to assume a strategic role within the foremost cybersecurity firm globally. While expertise in cybersecurity is not a prerequisite, a profound understanding of enterprise architecture concepts within key industries is essential to assist clients in aligning their security and risk initiatives with business objectives.

This pivotal role is crucial for the JAPAC (Japan and Asia Pacific) sector. As a vital member of the regional technical leadership team, your contributions will enable our clients to sustain strategic resilience against cyber threats by aligning their risk and security strategies with business goals.

Your Contributions

  • Develop tailored industry architecture frameworks and technical strategies for key clients across strategic sectors, advising on methods to integrate cybersecurity into their critical digital initiatives.
  • Focus industries include - Banking and Financial Services, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, and Government.
  • Cultivate relationships with key C-level executives, including CTOs, CIOs, Business Unit leaders, and Application Leaders, in addition to CISOs and CIOs.
  • Act as a crucial member of the JAPAC technical leadership team, steering strategy and architectural solutions for our largest strategic clients.
  • Collaborate with the broader technical leadership team at Palo Alto Networks to align clients' digital modernization plans with our strategic cybersecurity platform domains.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements in emerging areas such as Generative AI and Quantum Computing to proactively guide clients' innovation strategies.
  • Provide proactive advisory services to clients on balancing digital innovation with compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Your Background

  • Over 10 years of experience in roles such as Enterprise Architect, Principal Architect, CIO, CTO, or Application Lead within end-user organizations, or extensive consulting experience leading large-scale cybersecurity transformation initiatives for clients in strategic sectors.
  • Proven track record in leading architectural strategies that encompass software, infrastructure, and cloud services, driving significant business growth.
  • Experience in developing complex multi-product architectures and effectively communicating both the technical and business value of transformation projects in financial services.
  • Direct engagement with CIOs, CISOs, Boards of Directors, and other key stakeholders as a strategic advisor.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory considerations and mindsets related to the focus industries.
  • Experience in creating and documenting design principles, service catalogs, and reference architectures that become the standard across the organization.
  • Cybersecurity domain knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
