Optical Dispenser Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time Optical Dispenser who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and customer service in our optometry practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient reception service and general practice administration duties to ensure outstanding patient experiences
  • Assist patients in selecting optical frames that meet their lifestyle and physical needs
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of patient jobs, lens and contact lens orders, consignment stock, and ordering of frames and sundry items
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping in the practice, including overall presentation and cleanliness

Requirements:

  • Accredited Dispensing Qualification (preferred)
  • Must have relevant experience in the optical industry
  • Excellent communication skills, organisation, and professionalism
  • Sales ability and learning capacity to accurately dispense optical devices meeting patient needs
  • Maintenance of professional expertise through awareness of technological developments in lenses
  • Teamwork with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt
  • Customer service and/or retail skills essential
