About Our Opportunity

A dynamic and newly created leadership role is available for a Logistics Strategist to join our organisation. As a high-profile functional leadership position, the successful candidate will provide strategic thinking and guidance across all areas of our business.

Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Strategist will be accountable for collaborating with and managing the performance of various 3rd party service providers, encompassing logistics and software (ERP / WMS) provision. Key objectives include:

  • Defining and executing our organisation's supply chain strategy, ensuring seamless integration with all areas of the business.
  • Establishing and leading a fit-for-purpose Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to inform future decision-making and optimise national inventory positioning.
  • Designing and continually refining an optimised national logistics network, including warehousing and transport functions.
  • Overseeing supply chain planning and capacity planning functions, ensuring alignment with our organisation's overall goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles. Experience in managing third-party relationships and implementing sales and operations planning processes would be highly advantageous.
