Business Manager Role

The primary objective of this position is to oversee and direct an office team, ensuring effective human resource and financial management systems.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Leading staff to achieve desired outcomes and resolving issues independently
  • Providing timely reports and guidance on school finance, human resources, and administration

Key tasks may involve:

  • Developing and publishing school materials and documents
  • Preparing annual budgets and financial statements, contributing to financial decision making, and managing government grants and other income
  • Supporting external service providers, managing student admissions, registrations, and transfers, and implementing induction programs for new staff
  • Planning and developing support staff training programs, managing recruitment procedures, and ensuring occupational health and safety standards are maintained

This role requires a strong understanding of human resource and financial management principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Besides the technical skills required for the position, candidates must possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management and be able to provide strategic guidance to the team.

A key aspect of this role is to ensure that all financial and administrative tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively, allowing the team to focus on delivering high-quality services to students and stakeholders.

The Business Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and providing regular reports to senior management.
