We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to support inpatient wellbeing programs and staff development.

The role involves providing clinical oversight and leadership to a multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed inpatient care. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring clinical excellence, supporting staff, and fostering a therapeutic environment for patient recovery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, delivering, and evaluating evidence-based interventions.
  • Providing supervision, support, and consultation to clinical staff within the program.
  • Conducting clinical assessments, individual sessions, and group facilitation.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals.
  • Participating in service development and quality improvement initiatives.

You will be working collaboratively within a supportive hospital environment that values individuality and diversity. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Psychologist to make a real difference in the lives of people recovering from mental health challenges.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Registered Psychologist qualification with Clinical endorsement.
  • Clinical Board-approved supervisor status.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and treatment modalities suited to comorbidity.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to support and mentor a clinical team.
