Network Engineer Position

This is a key role within the Information Technology function, driving network design and delivery, operational support, and ensuring network deployments align with established policies and standards.

  • Develop detailed network designs based on high-level architecture plans and roadmaps.
  • Lead network builds and transition to operational standards.
  • Produce as-built documents aligned with detailed network designs. Document network processes, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with market audits.
  • Provide support for network operations, including incident management, change control, and service delivery.
  • Maintain network monitoring and alerting systems. Collaborate with project teams to deliver infrastructure for technology projects on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement services, resolve IT issues, and rotate through an on-call roster for after-hours incident management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data centre technology environments, strong expertise in WAN, LAN, Collaboration, Security, and Internet technologies, and knowledge of ITIL service management and quality assurance systems. They will also have hands-on deployment and operational experience with Data Centre network infrastructure, Voice gateways/SBC/Unified Communications platforms, Next-gen firewalls, and Load Balancers.

Requirements:
  • Experience in data centre technology environments.
  • Strong expertise in WAN, LAN, Collaboration, Security, and Internet technologies.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service management and quality assurance systems.
  • Hands-on deployment and operational experience with Data Centre network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Voice gateways/SBC/Unified Communications platforms, Next-gen firewalls, and Load Balancers.

Salary Range: A$90,000 - A$123,000 per year
