Career Opportunity: Scrap Metal Processing Specialist

As a Metal Grader, you will play a crucial role in the processing of scrap metal.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers.
  • Operate equipment such as Forklifts and other heavy machinery (where licensed).
  • Ensure customers receive a high level of service.
  • Grade and sort materials.
  • Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to environmental guidelines while demonstrating personal responsibility and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift license and operational experience.
  • Prior excavator operation experience is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a safe working environment.
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to undertake training to diversify skills.
  • Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.
