We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic leader to head up our legal department.

The Role- Provide strategic and commercial legal advice through internal and external resources that is fit-for-purpose for success.
- Take a hands-on approach to ensure a scalable operating model is designed and implemented.
- Lead the legal division to ensure appropriate solutions are developed to effectively manage risk and compliance.
You will be an accomplished legal professional with a proven track record in driving performance and enhancing workplace culture, skilled in law, governance, and regulatory compliance. With strong commercial acumen and a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation, you effectively address complex legal issues and implement frameworks that support business.
You will have:
- A minimum of 10 years' insurance legal experience coupled with a relevant tertiary qualification in law.
- A strong understanding of law, governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and engagement skills, with the ability to manage experts.
- Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with senior managers and other key stakeholders.
